conglomerating life
where do i begin?... my name is Nader but all my life friends called me Nate. I turned 21 last month and have yet to encounter this facade everyone talks about when turning 21; its overrated! I was born and raised in the U.S. but my parents are Egyptian. I don't speak Arabic fluently nor have i been to Egypt for a couple of years now. I am currently a shift manager/supervisor at Jamba Juice Company at the store on Union Square; I've been there for almost 3 years. This is my 5th semester in Baruch. I'm a transfer student coming from the College of Staten Island. I transferred because Baruch possesses the business environment which is my area of concentration (Accounting). Actually, coming out of High School, Baruch was my first choice on my college application, but they denied me due to poor academic performance. I would say it was then when i developed this tenacious attitude and began to take my life/career more strenuous. So i attended College of Staten Island for a year and received nothing below an A for all the classes i was present in and pretty much gave Baruch no reason to deny me again. So i re-applied and here i am.
