Mind Candy
who would've guessed a bunch of numbers and words would define your personality? in my opinion, the personality assessment model was pretty accurate. apparently, i was a "C", and in reality, i can personally concede this conviction. every move i make, i do it conscionably, carefully, thoroughly and with responsibility. under "description" for conscientiousness, a couple of highlights that hit home: thinking analytically, being diplomatic with people, checking for accuracy, and analyzing performance; kind of scary. not that i'm not content with being a "C" but if i had the choice to choose any other one out of the 4, i would choose "I". i like making a favorable impression in voicing my opinions; influencing others. but like i said, i'm comfortble being a "C". in reference to the "stranded" situation, i feel i would be more comfortable with an "I" leader. someone who views people and situations optmistically, and participates with groups; someone who not only talks the talk, but also walks the walk. i admire that and i'm a firm believer in leading by example!

I think that this personality assessment was pretty accurate in pinning you as a "C". You are a person who is very analytical, accurate, and diplomatic. I think that these are your strenghts and they work well for you. As for having "I" characteristics, I think that you can achieve some with practice, especially voicing your opinion.

ReplyDeletesame here, I am a C type of manager too. I think the test was pretty accurate for most people. I agree with you that that an "I" type of manager would definitely help in this stressful situation.
ReplyDeleteI think the description of "C" was accurately pinpoints your characteristic when you participate in the “Stranded!” You voice your opinion with evidence that you thinking its right. I feel it’s important to have teammates who are in the high C; they make clear plan of what should be done. "C" people rocks!!!
ReplyDeleteDo you remember when we were running around in the team to find the New York Post poster? If I should evaluate you according to the activity I would mark you either as a C or I. You do have influence on people when it comes to quick decisions. We four were kinda lost and you directed us when we did not know where to go. Also you are very detail-oriented in the search in that you did not want to leave any stone unturned.
