trouble sleeping?

I know as hardworking students, sleep is something we all struggle with. Question is, are we too busy for sleep, or are we suffering from insomnia? Turns out, sleep has numerous benefits; healthy heart, body repair, memory enhancement, reduce stress and build muscle, to name a few. for those who suffer from sleeping, here are a few tips on foods to eat prior to bed time that will aid your ability to a restful sleep pattern (i call them mood foods). the objective is to consume foods that are high in tryptophan - an amino acid that triggers the neurotransmitter, seratonin - mood regulater. Glass of warm milk, almonds, cottage cheese, turkey and even chocolate. Just to be clear ladies, though chocolate aids sleeping behaviors, it should be consumed in moderation :). these foods tend to digest slowly, which keeps us full and content throughout the night. me personally, before bedtime, I consume a casein shake with low fat milk and a scoop of peanut butter and im out cold. so if you ever want to contact me, make sure i havent performed my night-time ritual, otherwise, ill see you in 9 hours - rest needed to be optimal. Try it out!!
