dependent visions

now that i'm compelled to think about my future, i wasn't aware i had so many visions. just to name a few, i plan on possessing a Certified Public Accounting lisence and perhaps owning my own accounting firm one day. i also plan on getting married and having kids eventually; somewhere in the near future. most importantly, shortly after graduating from Baruch, i plan on getting my own place!! i love my family, please don't misinterpret, but i am a man who values privacy and that seems to be an illusion as long as i live with my parents and sister. i am aware of the inconvenient effort living on your own entails; not having the luxury of home-cooked food waiting on the table as you come home from a long, exhausting day, or a clean house unless you partake in doing so, or not having to worry about paying for rent and other expensive utilities. therefore, i'm hoping by achieving my visions stated earlier; getting married, acheiving my CPA and finding a steady paying job, this will make me a step closer in living comfortably. my blueprint in achieving my CPA, i have no other choice than to submit to these requirement adjustments in effect august 1, and stay in Baruch one more year. during this time, however, i hope to work for a prestige accounting firm who can perhaps pay for my fees involving my CPA, and commence my career. from here, i plan on meeting my wife which i haven't quite figured out yet. but until then, Baruch is all i know!

  1. I am also planning on getting a CPA but I am planning to own my own accouting firm or anything. I just want to get CPA to prepare me to become a good financial lawyer. I am also planning to get my own place. I can't wait. I am actually planning to get my own place during junior year. I hope everything works out well and wish you a best luck!

  2. Great goals, I also wanted to move out on my own but the convenience at home is too good to give up. In your case I suggest finishing school before you move out, it'll be a smoother transition. If you work at it anything is possible, you just have to be focused. Good luck with everything.

  4. like many of us you have a vision of a prosperous future that you have created in your own mind. I believe that you will succeed in obtaining your vision. The only thing I can suggest is that you might want to use more firm choice of words. For example, instead of using I might use I will. Not too certain if those words reflect your thoughts, but it is something that I consider to be important. Hope this helped and good luck!

  5. Those seem like some pretty common visions these days, I'm actually hoping to obtain my CPA too and adventually move out on my own too, these are the common vision most people would like to take as they grow older and want their independence. Good luck on your visions, and hopefully we'll be able to achieve our similar goals in life.
